From article titled, “The Kitschy Rise of Public Transit Culture.” IMHO, this picture is the best part of the article. As an unabashed lover and transit community enthusiast, the article is a good start, but doesn’t go nearly far or deep enough into why it’s appealing or what public transit culture actually does or means for those who participate in it. But, hey, I’m more than a little biased. (Also, for the love of all that’s holy don’t read the comments.)
