Something’s in the air about transportation…I personally don’t think it’s a bad thing. While I am off in the wilds of Point Grey agonizing whether my Master’s in Planning destiny should lie in the field of Transportation Planning or Urban Design, three young transit fan-advocates (whom I all know or know of in varying capacities) have banded together to write on issues of the day at route 604. We should have an “I Write A Transit Blog” party sometime…we could invite Stephen Rees, Gordon Price, the second-year cats at Planning Pool, Jhenifer Pabillano, our Baltimore friend Transit Stanzas, Steve Munro, friends from SpacingWire, regarding place, et al (i.e. everyone else I can’t remember because my brain’s too burned out from readings). And get tafryn and rannie to take pictures. Maybe someone from More Riders magazine could school us on transit advocacy. Or, you know, stuff.
