When I got off the Skytrain at Waterfront there was a very nice Cello sound coming through the tunnel. It may not have been the best performance, but it was a nice addition to the afternoon rush. A moment after I passed the gentlemen in blue came by to put an end to things. I guess the kid was a little too deep into the station. As I was putting my camera away one of them came by to question me. It turns out that photos in the transit system are frowned upon with the Olympics on the way. (Russ Beinder)
This came up a couple years ago with another photographer, who has since deleted his account on Flickr. This other photographer took photos of SkyTrain attendants, who told the photographer there was no photography allowed. It raised issues about photographer’s rights, and so will this photo. I have a question in with @TransitPolice about what their policy is.
