Artifact History:
Expo 1986 was held in Vancouver, B.C. Donor Jill and husband, Robert, loved the Expo and went every weekend. Jill and Robert loved the going to the Expo because it was so well done. Every weekend there was something different and interesting to see, that otherwise they would not have been able to enjoy. Jill particularly liked all the different foods but also noted the grounds were always spotlessly clean.
General Artifact History:
The theme for Expo ‘86 was “Transportation and Communication: World in Motion - World in Touch.” The fair coincided with Vancouver’s centennial and was held on the north shore of False Creek.
